TARTEEL (Recitation) – Intermediate Level

 

TARTEEL is an intensive online and in-person Qur’an program that caters for students of all ages. This program is for students who have just completed BIDAYA (Beginner Levels A & B of Qur’an 100) and still need to enhance their reading skills. TARTEEL mainly focuses on practicing reading as well as applying methods and rules learnt in the Beginner Levels. TARTEEL teachers will ensure that students are able to accomplish the recitation, translation and memorization of all assigned suras in a timely manner.

A- Learning Outcomes (Both Levels A & B):

  1. Qur’an recitation with proper articulation of sounds and letters.
  2. Reading of special words written in Qur’anic calligraphy.
  3. Practical rules of An-Noon Al- Sakinah and Tanween (Izhar, Ikhfaa, Idgham, and Iqlab)
  4. Practical rules of Al- Meem Al- Sakinah (Izhar Shafawi, Ikhfaa Shafawi, and Idgham Shafawi)
  5. Rules of Madd (stretching long vowels)
  6. Stop Signs.
  7. Supervised Recitation of Juz’ Amma & Tabarak.
  8. Memorizing Juz’ Amma and Surahs Al-Mursalat & Al-Insan. ( Both Levels A & B)
  9. A translation book and many interactive tools will be used by the teachers to keep the students attracted to the lesson like YouTube, Quizlet, Kahoot, etc…

  • Level A: 11:00-12:30 and Monday 5:00-6:00 (By Zoom)
  • Level B: 1:00-2:30 and Thursday 5:00-6:00 ( By Zoom )

Online Classes – (Zoom):

  • Level A: Sunday 11:00-12:30 and Monday 5:00-6:00
  • Level B: Sunday 1:00-2:30 and Thursday 5:00-6:00
  • To stay connected and maximize the educational benefits, we allocated 1.5 hours on the weekend for the main lesson and additional one hour on the weekdays for homework assignments and follow up during the week.
  • 50% Recitation, 30% Interpretation & 20% Memorization.

  • $65 monthly fee for 9 months – automatic withdrawal
  • $50 Educational Materials for Qur’an 200A – (Translation book, Juzu ‘Amma & activity book (volume 2)
  • $40 Educational Materials for Qur’an 200B – (Translation book & Juzu Tabarak)
